Who needs an airport background???? Six hour flight delay was really a nightmare...

You had your biggest playground at the airport. You had the longest playtime ever. you did everything to stay away from boredom because of six hour flight delay. When we were about to board, you were sitting...looking very tired and cannot even walk. A perfect picture of a very exhausted little boy....please give way to our wheelchair passenger.

Happy Feet

This was the first time you stepped your feet on the shore. The sand seemed so yucky
but after a while you enjoyed running around the beach leaving your cute little footprints on the sand.

Their color palette every week helps me create layouts. I will keep on playing along...i really love this site.
This picture is one of my favorites...i rarely have pictures of my loved ones aside from my kids. I don't even have pictures of my husband for me to scrap...he's our photographer!
I love this palette because its a girl and boy color combo! I enjoyed doing the sequins shaker and the twill ribbon flowers sprayed with sherbet mist!

A gecko on a coffee break...hahaha,.. I love geckos...This little creepy crawler is really funny! enjoy your cup! ( It was my dad's coffee...he didn't mind sharing it!)

from plain to prints

I got bored with my style, using plain cardstock. I also found out that i don't have much pps in my stash. I love using solid colors, i limited myself to that style because it made my creative process easier. I tried playing with patterned papers this week and i enjoyed it! Here are some of my layouts.

I'm Back with Colors!

Its been 9 months since my last post. My last creation was a layout from scrappin' moms idol3. No layouts for 2010 until i found a site thru one of the scrappin' moms and one of my idols, Iris, about The Color Room.Actually, All the scrappin moms are my favorites,..Their works are fabulous! Anyway,I was inspired to do layouts again because I didn't have a hard time thinking of color palettes and sketches. All i did was to find the right photos and embellished!

It's a good jump-start...hope i could create more layouts this year! I'm Back with Colors!

Scrappinmoms Idol3 entries

Had so much fun joining the idol contest. Congratulations to all the winners! Thanks scrappinmoms...learned many things from you guys! Great event last Saturday!

SCRAP BUFFET

I attented a scrap buffet last saturday. Thanks to TIN of Studio Azul and the rest of the girls...great job!
Scrap all you can...super cool concept! I was able to make 7 layouts. First time to make soooo many los in 6hours. Here are my works....

MY ALTERED STORY BOOK

These are my daughter's mini story books. I altered one of these, to make a musical photo carousel...I'm sure she will not notice it because she has like 15 books scattered on her shelf.

I used a cover of a CD container as my carousel base. I got the musical mechanism from a broken jewelry box. I used one CD to cover the base.

I painted the book with brown...tied fibers to conceal the lines, embellished a little..i have now my musical photo carousel. Though the musical mechanism is xmas tune, i still used pics of me and my hubby... Please watch the video.
